The menu offers traditional Italian dishes such as pasta and pizza, with standout items being the margherita pizza and various appetizers. The atmosphere is cozy and the service ranges from efficient to attentive. Despite some criticisms, many diners have had positive experiences and plan to return. Whether you're craving a classic margherita or a more adventurous pizza topping, this restaurant may be worth a visit for a taste of authentic Italian cuisine.
I have been several times and loved the food every time and great friendly service. I just wish there were some logic to opening hours! they seem to bear no relation to the opening times listed and seem to be completely random. But maybe that's part of the fun!
We had a lovely meal, booking very last minute but they managed to fit us in on a Friday night. It is a small family run restaurant with extremely good pizza, with authentic and tasty toppings a great menu with a lot of choice, and something a little different! Draft beers were off but they had a good choice of bottles and we weren’t disappointed. The restaurant had a nice ambiance and a very friendly waitress. I wouldn’t hesitate to return!
Family visit of 6 for the first time and will not be the last! So many good things to say about this place. Pizzas were excellent, really good dough and excellent toppings also quite large for one person. Wine was good and tiramisu and ice cream excellent desserts. The own brand beer on draft was excellent. Sylv runs a great place, a hidden gem in Ealing. I have only good things to say about this lovely restaurant. We will be back for sure.
We visited here as a family of five, children aged 11, 10 and 7. Really friendly welcome, attentive staff. The bruschetta was the best we’d had in a long time, so good! All three children had margarita pizza, which they said was really good. The meatballs were amazing, again the best we’ve had in a long time. Pasta was perfect, really delicious sauce too. We were really impressed! Would definitely recommend and visit again if in the area.
My family and I have been dining in Coda di Volpe since it’s beginnings and we were so happy to return for a post-lockdown dinner! It has a wonderful authentic, family atmosphere and the food and wine is excellent. They have a great range of pizzas, including vegan options, calzones, and sunny-side up pizzas, and they use a variety of proper, fresh Italian ingredients. My favourite thing on the entire menu has to be the polpo salad. Just exquisite. Whilst it may seem a little pricey at £14, it’s a very generous portion and the octopus itself is so fresh and delicious. If you fancy going somewhere for an intimate dinner, I would highly recommend Coda di Volpe. It’s slightly off the beaten track, but very easy to get to from either Ealing Broadway or Ealing Common stations, and I would recommend booking as they do often get quite busy!
