Really glad I discovered here as a quick lunch place when in the St Paul's area. Really friendly staff explained the menu choices and the Pho I had was fresh, taste and filling. Even better, it was only £6.50 which is an absolute bargain in this area. Would definitely recommend it and I will be back again soon. View all feedback.
What A1A Beachfront doesn't like about Chao!now:
Cheap Vietnamese eatery that does a host of yummy Vietnamese fastfood dishes. I had the beef with lemongrass bún, it's was pretty good especially when considering the £7.50 price tag. View all feedback.
This place is just around the corner from my work and I've been here many times. Sorry to be boring but I always order the chicken noodle salad which is so tasty I'm actually salivating right now just thinking about it. You get a huge amount for what you pay for so its great value! Chicken noodle salad is literally noodles with a bit of cabbage/carrot/lettuce and heaps and heaps of lemongrass chili chicken. Brilliant authentic flavours! And there is always a queue at lunch so its gotta be good right?

Had the chicken and pork combo with rice; tasty and quick filling lunch. Cheap meal option close to St Pauls Cathedral
I used to trek 40 minutes to a place near Goodge Street for an amazing bahn mi, until I discovered this place! When I first visited, I tried their bahn mi and it was gorgeous the meat was tender, the salad fresh and altogether incredibly flavoursome. I had that repeatedly, until I plucked up the courage to try something a bit different... the rice box. Wow! Again, the meat is tender and the portion size probably too big, but it is too good to leave. The fresh coriander, nuts and chilli really take this dish up a notch it is much more than just meat and rice. The staff are great, really efficient and quick, which is helpful as sometimes the queues are out of the door at peak lunch time, but that's normally a good sign. It's tucked away which is a shame, as more people should know about this great little place. I find the price more than reasonable too. When the area is saturated with Prets, Pods and EATs, it's nice to find somewhere like this with a stunning flavour and fresh produce.
Have been a frequent visitor for lunch here for many months now.Consistently great food. The lemongrass chicken on rice is superb as is the chicken satay and prawn skewers. The Banh Mi and Pho are also worth a look at.If you can handle chilli/spice would strongly recommend asking for the chilli paste it's a genuine game changer. Made on site, keep asking the owners to bottle it and sell it on the side!
