What Liege Bastogne Liege doesn't like about Bongusto:
It's ok but on balance, there was little to love, we thought. The service was very good, but it was a 5pm meal in that lull between the late lunchers and the evening diners. It got busier as 7pm approached. Two mains, a pizza and a spaghetti alla vongole were ok, the latter really wasn't anything to write home about. Both a little dull, even the diavola pizza. Our hotel recommended this Italian restaurant for our first night in London as it was close by. What a gem. Great Italian food. I had the branzini and my husband the carbonara. Both tasty. Small intimate dining spot I totally recommend. View all feedback.

Authentic italian cooking. Portions not the biggest but good quality. Convenient if visiting Buckingham Palace.
