What Jonathan Hall doesn't like about Boba Jam:
such wonderful memories here with a close friend. the president we visited twice in a short time span of two days. Traveled through the rain and terrible cold weather to eat an icey cold dessert. isn't it? The menu makes me so confused, feels like I have to make an important life-changing decision every time. I've never regretted anything here. I enjoyed creating different versions of make-your-own obst tapioca sunda... View all feedback.

This restaurant serves high-quality milk tea and classic tea. The fruity bubbled boba jam is particularly tasty, especially when ordered with bursting bubbles instead of tapioca.
Such a great place for bubble tea. You can try so many different options but I like mine with regular cold tea with tapioca bobbles. It's a fascinating feeling. I never tried anything like that before. They have so many flavours, once I tried the matcha tea which is green tea but I wasn't impressed at all because it had a powdery taste. They also do crepes and so many other desserts but the bubble tea is obviously the main attraction.
I have a strong craving for the spicy tea-filled boba balls from this place. It's a shame that I don't know of any other places outside of Chinatown that offer such unique flavors. The long journey to get there isn't very appealing on a cold and rainy day. My go-to spot for bubble tea is Boba Jam, a quirky purple tea shop located on Shaftesbury Avenue. Bubble tea is a relatively new concept in the culinary world, originating from Taiwan and featuring gelatin balls in a flavored drink. Boba Jam offers a variety of flavors like coconut, honeydew, mango, and taro milk, as well as more traditional options.
Here they serve a small variety of South east Asian/Chinese deserts – mostly involving strange flavoured fruit, beans and seeds – and a selection of savoury snacks, but the biggest lure is the range of Boba tea and fruit jelly drinks.
