I have such amazing memories at this restaurant with a dear friend. We visited Riwa Khan twice in just two days, braving the rain and cold weather to enjoy their delicious icy cold dessert. I really miss being in hongkong any road they go in mong kok, there are desserts-Palors in every corner waiting for them to send in. mango pancakes, large bowls of sago and mango pudding, sweet dumplings in suppe the list goes on. Now london is close to having open places in the evening, but there are a few spots in london to come for their wish. boba jam is an extension to the candy caffe in chinatown, opened by the same owner with a much bigger place.
Such a great place for bubble tea. You can try so many different options but I like mine with regular cold tea with tapioca bobbles. It's a fascinating feeling. I never tried anything like that before. They have so many flavours, once I tried the matcha tea which is green tea but I wasn't impressed at all because it had a powdery taste. They also do crepes and so many other desserts but the bubble tea is obviously the main attraction.
Me and my friend stumbled across Boba Jam accidentally, but we heard amazing things about this place from people saying how great the bubble tea is. We came for the bubble tea! Funnily enough, I didn't think I would like bubble tea, as I thought the texture of the boba would make me gag. And it did. I didn't like the chewy texture of the boba and it just felt weird to me that there were squidgy things floating at the bottom of my drink. Although I did like the packaging of the takeaway bubble tea as it is sealed shut by a special machine to prevent spillages, which comes in handy in the bustling centre of London.
