I've eaten here a few previous times. Hampstead is surprisingly not particularly full of great restaurants but I've not had a bad meal at Aubaine. Lunch today was really good. Prompt and friendly service. Great HOME MADE French bread. French butter. Everything excellent. We'll be going again soon. View all feedback.
What Prof Dr Khalid A doesn't like about Aubaine Hampstead:
Convenient meeting place for friends so gave it a go. Service friendly but not very experienced. Food OK but not very special or memorable. Prices average. So in all its hard to see how this chain differentiates itself from all the rest. View all feedback.
Nice little cafe/ bistro. Does not feel like it is part of a chain. Great location and really nice staff.
Had lunch there with family; service was indifferent to unfriendly; waited 45 minutes for the food; starter (calamaris was excellent, albeit a little too hot; mains platter was lamentable: limp prociutto, ice cold vegetables, olives from the tin and dodgy(? mozzarella; in fairness, they left the mains off the bill after my complaints. However, had major intestinal problems in the evening. Not going there again.
We had our wedding anniversary dinner there in October 2015. They were really friendly but not in your face. They offered us an anniversary cake at the end of the meal to help us celebrate.
Very good food, service and ambience! Although we were late the waiters have accommodated us immediately! Thanks for a lovely brunch!
Enjoyed daughter's 16th birthday brunch at Aubaine, Hampstead as a family. Warm, friendly service and absolutely delicious food. Will definitely be visiting again soon!
