What Joe King doesn't like about Ariana:
Ended up in Ariana last night. Turns out there was an Afghan wedding on but we were invited inside anyway. Seated and ordered our food just before the music started blaring. Understandably it was a wedding but the music was so loud I couldn't hear...myself talk. Food was mediocre, the lamb kebabs were rather nice and the chicken was pretty standard. read moreNestled near the Royal Oak railway station, this restaurant offers a blend of authentic Persian and Afghan cuisine, though experiences can greatly vary. While some diners rave about the delicious mantu and tender mixed grill, others express disappointment over inattentive service and an overwhelming noise level from live music. The ambiance is modest, lacking extravagant decor, but the family-run establishment boasts friendly staff and reasonably priced meals. Despite some negative reviews regarding service and food quality, many agree that the menu offers delightful flavors worth exploring for special occasions or family gatherings. Overall, it’s a place to consider for an Afghan dining experience.
