When I tell people I'm taking my mom for coffee at the cafe in the medical center, they're making fun of me as if I'm taking her to seven. But the coffee is excellent, the food fresh and tasty and the service is friendly....One of the advantages of its location is the accessibility with my 89 y/o mom have no problems getting in and out. So don't direct this book to its cover.

My experience at this restaurant was terrible. I was bitten by a dog, which was not the restaurant's fault, but the employees showed no sympathy. I ordered a chicken burger without avocado, but when it was brought to my table with avocado on it, I asked for it to be taken back. The employee seemed unhappy about it and basically threw the dish back at me. Even when it returned, there was still avocado on it. The food was good, but the customer service was terrible and very rude. I will never eat here again.

This café is located with the building of Vermont South Hospital It offers seating in the housing and also has tables outside. Offers small meals and coffee etc. Both are very good Not BYO

We visited this café several times with friends and it is always good. The coffee actually tastes more like coffee than flavored milk, and the cakes, sandwiches and other foods are of a very high standard. Parking is a breeze.

When deciding on where to go for a nice Sunday breakfast, I have never really considered cafes attached to hospitals. I may need to change my thinking. Java Script at Vermont Private Hospital has a small breakfast menu, but it's full of flavour and very...well presented. A bonus is the very good Tobys Estate coffee. I had the Java Smash which comes with smashed avo, oven roasted garlic and thyme tomatoes, grilled haloumi, fresh lemon and a poached egg on sourdough. It was delicious. The menus are changed with the season and so I'm sure everything is made with the freshest ingredients. The service was friendly, informative and attentive. Can't wait to go back to the cafe by the hospital.
