Fine the menu is very good and has a great range of food to chose from and also a separate menu for seniors .I find it very attractive to choose my main meal from the standard menu because as a senior , I then get 25% of the cost of the meal. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Bistro at Burvale Hotel:
This is like a slice of the 70's, in a negative way. The food tastes like it dates from that time as well. If you are disabled, do not go there are there are no proper disabled toilets in the bistro. To access the disabled toilets you need to walk down 4 stairs!, to the gaming area.... View all feedback.

Decent pub meal and when deals are on, it can be a bit of a steal. Had chicken Parma here and it was just above average
It was a convenient place to have lunch and I had not been there for years. The food was very ordinary and the atmosphere was uninviting. The first thing noticeable was the damp smell throughout the building. When seated near the window the view of the outside gardens, timber sections and eves were a disgrace. There was obvious mould everywhere and so many repairs, cleaning and painting needed to be done. The bistro was covered with mould on walls, ceilings and all the walls in the bar area. The place was a disgrace and a health hazard to the staff and customers. It should not have been open under the circumstances. The condition of the place was not from the recent storm, (about mid January), it was dated much further back, however, the recent storm would have contributed to the fresh smell of damp carpet and ceilings. My friends and myself were out of there as soon as we had eaten. I knew Sam Jacobson well - he built the hotel some years back - and would be rolling over in his grave if he could see how horrible it is today. The company owning it obviously does not care, evidenced by its disgraceful condition.
This pub isn't the best around buts it ok for a couple of beers and a quick feed. The big screen isn't the best quality. It's got love bands on fri or sat night which is the best thing about this pub.
