We got the jja jang myeon $10-ish) to go and had a picnic near Cascadilla Gorge area. The food was luke warm but that could have been because of the temperature outside. The sauce was plentiful and delicious. It had pieces of potatoes, onions and some meat pieces. The noodle portion was good for one meal with extra sauce to take home if desired. View all feedback.
What Ryve V doesn't like about Masita:
Definitely not worth the money, Paid $15 for a cup of rice and a bit of pork that wasn't even seasoned well. The portion was small. Seafood jam pong cost $13 and only had a few pieces of calamari and random seafood; the rest is noodles and onion. No kimchi or any other sides on top of that. View all feedback.
The meal was definitely not worth the price. I paid $15 for a cup of rice and a small amount of pork that lacked seasoning. The portion sizes were quite small. Additionally, the seafood jampong was priced at $13, but it only contained a few pieces of calamari and assorted seafood—mostly just noodles and onions. To top it off, there were no kimchi or side dishes included.
We ordered the jja jang myeon (around $10) to go and enjoyed a picnic near the Cascadilla Gorge area. Although the food was lukewarm, it might have been due to the outdoor temperature. The sauce was abundant and tasty, featuring chunks of potatoes, onions, and some pieces of meat. The noodle portion was just right for one meal, with enough extra sauce to take home if we wanted.
The staff were very friendly and the food reminds me of home! I'll definitely be going back.
Great food--however--overpriced experience for a restaurant that has no wait staff and uses all disposable silverware and takeaway containers to cut down even further on labor. Probably won't come here again to eat in, might order out. The black bean noodles are very good.
I’ve tried a fair amount of Korean food at various restaurants in the U.S. and during a few days in Seoul, but I didn’t recognize many of the dishes here. However, the food was fantastic! We particularly enjoyed the flat beef dumplings, the stir-fried black bean noodles (bokkeum jajangmyeon), and the fried chicken.
