THIS PLACE KNOWS HOW TO MAKE PROPER CROISSANTS! a real super flaky amazing masterpiece of French baking technique. If you feel like a little Paris without the travel, just go here for a croissant View all feedback.
What Richard Cunningham doesn't like about Le Perche:
Overcooked, overheated and overpriced. My duck hash had little to no duck in it. The potatoes were burnt and the poached egg overcooked $26). The egg sandwich for $15 is a joke. The restaurant has no air conditioning so it's like an oven. Not a great experience. View all feedback.
Completely unprofessional, dare I say racist? Not the only one claiming this on the Google page it seems.
We were here for lunch. The entire place if so hot. There is no air con, no fan. Not fun while trying to eat food in the summer. The duck confit had very little duck in it and the potatoes were kind of burnt. You expect more when you pay top dollar for an entree. The service was nice. The drinks were good.
Brunch was not bad, different. I liked the Curried Lentil with poached eggs, but it was undercooked, as they rushed to bring my dish out while everyone else was halfway done with their food. The croissants were definitely not fresh and hard to separate to eat; kinda disappointed as it is a French spot.
Ttttt This was my favorite thing ever I was just like oh I need a break now and then
Wanted to like this place so much, but on a score of our party of four it kinda bombed. Venue, staff, ambiance etc were perfect. lovely location, gorgeous outdoor patio etc. I had the Croque madame. It was large, filling, great fried egg, quaality ham/gruyere. WIfe had the Egg sandwich with add on Avocado. Avocado was not it's best attribute. The egg was great. Son had Salted Cod his comment was basically lots of red peppers, but surprisingly little salt cod not the cheapest thing on the menu needs a little work. Daughter had French Toast. Expecting nice slices of eggy bread, got a half loaf of eggyness drenched in syrup again, perhaps people love the hunk of bread, but she got tired really quickly. Wine was ok. Not sure about the Mourvedre I had, but wife liked the Chardonnay and kids enjoyed the hot chocolate. Again, great location, everything was good, just the food lacked a little finesse.
