What Shawn Tolbert doesn't like about Jersey Mike's Subs:
Staff worked hard to fill drive thru, online and walk in orders in a timely manner. Food was plentiful and served properly. Facility location, seating, and parking is good. View all feedback.
My son and I stopped by this location on the way back to Atlanta. When we entered the building, there were 3 employees there, 2 males and 1 female, none of them greeted us, neither one of them said hello, welcome in or how you doing, one of the guys continued to cut the meat, the other 2 continued as if we were not there. Finally, one of the guys asked what we were having, still no greetings, I told him and minutes later, I had to repeat it. The male cashier didn't say anything to me, not thank you or even told me the amount. Those 3 employees are the reason I'm writing this review and the reason I only gave 1 star. Customer service is EVERYTHING!! The sandwiches were ok and fresh. The bathroom was filthy, tissue and paper towels were on the floor. The store could have been more clean.
My apologies for the long statement below. I am 50 years old and of all my years eating at restaurants, I have never experienced anything like what my daughter and I experienced at this Jersey Mikes location in Auburn. When trying to order the music was so loud that you couldn’t communicate with the staff. I told my 11 year old daughter to order and a young blonde woman taking the order rudely told her to speak up because she could hear my daughter. I gave her my order for a bowl, in which she returned a statement that I couldn’t understand because the music was so loud. I responded back that I just wanted a club supreme bowl and she got visibly angry and made a smart remark. The next girl with dark hair preparing the meals was very nice. She asked my daughter what she wanted on her sandwich, but again she couldn’t hear my daughter nor I, and she even she admitted it was very loud and hard to hear. I responded, yes it is very loud and that I was having a hard time understanding the first employee that was very rude me. I then went to the register to pay where another young blonde girl began slamming cups down on the counter and literally throwing plastic forks on the counter toward me and my daughter, as the first rude employee and her had been talking about me while the nice girl was preparing our food. Trying to pay, I couldn’t get my card to swipe and the girl at the register just stood there and purposely wouldn’t assist so the nice worker stopped to come assist me with my card so I could pay.My daughter and I sat down to eat. The 2 rude girls were visibly talking about me then went to the back and cranked the music up to the maximum volume for an about 15 seconds while my daughter and I were eating to provoke me as I had complained the loud music. I ignored this. We finished our meal and as my daughter and I were leaving, I turned and apologized to the one nice employee and said, if I had caused any problems I was sorry. She responded “No it’s really ok.”As I was walking out to leave one of the extremely rude girls angrily yelled at me from the back of this store “have a great day!!” With condemning sarcasm. I then went back to the counter to ask the nice girl if I could get a contact for the main store manager. The girl that yelled at me from the back walked all the way from the back, came up to me and started yelling at me and refused to give me a contact that I asked for them said again sarcastically and demeaning again to have a nice day!!. I finally realized this was going no where. It was utterly the worst and embarrassing experience I’ve ever encountered at a restaurant in my life. This was all in front of customers and my daughter and we left the store. I sent a formal complaint to jersey mikes headquarters in hopes to hear a response. I would gladly speak to the local manager as well if possible. These two girls should be terminated of their jobs.
The worst place I ever stopped at. I left as they were making my sandwich. The cheapest made sandwich ever. Charge a premium price for a poorly made sandwich. It was ridiculous..the guy put like 4 slices of roast beef on the sandwich. Horrible experience! At first, I thought it was a joke. But when he began to ask me what else I wanted on it (toppings), I just turned and left.
Came in at 8:45. One Worker was complaining so loudly, cursing about how customers shouldn't be coming in an hour before close (close is at 10pm). Refused to make order claiming they were out of items. Just really awful
The service was good; they prepared the meat and cheese fresh for each order, and the vegetable selection was well-stocked—especially the tomatoes, which looked quite appealing! I really appreciate nicely sliced tomatoes, and I usually avoid places that serve mushy ones. They generously loaded up the sandwiches with veggies and even offered to toast the bread and meat if you wanted. At the front, there was a self-serve soda machine and urns for sweetened and unsweetened tea, although I didn’t see any lemon slices for those who like them in their tea. We walked over from our hotel, and I noticed that the parking lot was spacious and well-lit. They also have a drive-thru option. Overall, it was a pleasant experience!
