Arrived an hour early for a medical appointment in the building, so had time for a breakfast while we waited. Was surprised to see a Sal's restaurant! We only had breakfast, but food was good. Now here's a place you MUST eat when you're in town. Real, good, solid Winnipeg food! Mmmmmmmmmm milkshakes, and all the good stuff that goes with em.
It is always nice to o to "The Sals". The hamburgers - Nips - are hand pressed with great fried onions. I love the Red Velvet Cake. Lots of free coffee refills.

Great value and the food is consistently good at all the locations. One of our favorite places to go for breakfast or lunch while visiting Winnipeg.
+.5 for service Salisbury House (Sals) is just one of those places where you go because it's a Winnipeg thing.
