Il Borgo Di Sabine - CITTIGLIO

We spent an ad hoc weekend over Ferragosto @Borgo il Sabine. Very unique place, definetively a lot of love went (and goes into this place. Once you mastered the challenging incline (5km+ you walk into a unique heaven a mixture between selected fleamarket items as well as modern „banksy“ type of art pieces. The owners, Sabine Emmanuel, are truly wonderful and make you feel very welcome!

Firstly, thank you so much to Sabine and Maati for making us feel so welcome. Hospitality like that can’t be bought or taught, it only comes from the heart. I don’t know how to describe Il Borgo Do Sabine.. Sabine has managed to create a boutique guest house in a very secluded mountain paradise. Im not used to the level of silence you hear at night. The interiors are so well thought out, spacious and arty, the exterior gives off a ‘ruin’ vibe and the surrounding area is peaceful and beautiful. The restaurant serves delicious locally sourced food and the bar serves cocktails that would rival top hotel bars anywhere. If you are looking for somewhere to get away, relax and shut off please consider staying here. I travel a lot and you don’t come by places like this every day.

Una bella scoperta! Innanzitutto questa locanda colpisce per l'arredamento ben pensato e accogliente. Noi abbiamo pranzato su una graziosa terrazza con vista sulla vallata. Piatti ricercati e abbinamenti per nulla scontati. Il tutto cucinato con bravura. Servizio eccellente. Conto in linea con la qualità del servizio e della cucina. P.s. menzione per i filetti di baccalà in crosta e risotto al blu d'aosta.

Fantastiche prelibatezze, uniche e gustose! Ho scoperto con gioia questa prelibatezza nel borgo di Vararo. Unica, delicata, gustosa...trasmette amore, la cucina dello chef Emanuele! Location tipica, molto accogliente. Gli interni sono molto particolari e la terrazza esterna concilia le emozioni trasmesse al palato! Chef stellato! Consigliatissimo! Ci siamo fermati al ristorante dopo circa tre ore di camminata al passo Cuvignone. Siamo stati accolti da uno staff gentile e preparato. Abbiamo pranzato avvolti dal profumo di zagara e ogni piatto è stato cucinato e servito con cura. Un ottimo modo per ricaricarsi e allo stesso tempo rilassarsi in un borgo che sembra una cartolina!
