Thai Orchid - Citrus Heights

I tried this local restaurant for the first time and had a great experience. We placed our order online and paid when we picked it up. They even called to let us know when our order was ready. I really enjoyed my meal! The pineapple fried rice was delicious, and the papaya salad featured a flavorful jerky-style steak. The chicken strip appetizer was tasty, although a bit expensive. Overall, the curry was wonderful too.

I placed my first order tonight through DoorDash and accidentally selected fried spring rolls instead of fresh ones. The restaurant was very kind and quickly updated my order to the correct item. I also appreciate the dasher for waiting a few extra minutes. I'm really impressed with the excellent customer service, and the food was fantastic! The dumplings and mango with sweet rice were especially delicious. I'm saving the spring rolls for lunch tomorrow, and I'm definitely going to order from them again!

The pineapple rice was incredible! I took some leftovers home for my husband and couldn't help but sneak bites while he ate it. It was just that good! I also really enjoyed the flavor of the coconut soup. While there weren't as many chunks compared to other places, the broth was absolutely perfect; I could drink it every day. We also ordered the panang curry, which is always a winner if you love peanut flavor. The staff were very friendly, and the time estimate they provided over the phone for when my order would be ready was spot on.

Ordered the Drunken noodles, and I'm not sure what they gave me.. Drunken noodles have lettuce and no egg.. this has eggs and no lettuce.. Store was happy to remake them, delicious! Just not the classic recipe, but delicious!
