Subway - Citrus Heights

This is a really good subway everytime I come here it's always fresh and has such friendly workers I enjoy every visit

Consider this: I’ve been a regular at the same fast food place for four years and have faced just three minor problems—pretty impressive, right? The owner is a delightful woman with a lovely voice; she’s very friendly and always eager to reassure customers about how strictly she maintains quality. The restaurant is nearly always spotless; the only time I noticed any mess was during a busy rush when they were reorganizing the lobby. The staff is generally very nice and manages the long lines well, swiftly preparing sandwiches without skimping like some other places. I’ve never encountered questionable produce or cheese—not even once—and their bread is always fresh and soft. My only minor complaint is that about half the time, they’re out of one of the cookie varieties, usually the seasonal ones. Overall, the food is classic Subway fare; if you enjoy their sandwiches (and I really do), you’ll love this spot. It’s a great place!

I’ve never had a bad experience at Subway, and the new subs are quite tasty and a refreshing change. Unfortunately, some Subways refuse to accept coupons, which limits my choices to just a few locations. It’s frustrating, especially because the staff at those places have been unpleasant about it. As a result, I find myself avoiding the store and opting to drive a couple of extra miles, or I’ll go to the drive-thru at Wienerschnitzel instead. Their hot dogs and shakes are incredibly affordable, and you can’t beat the prices for such budget-friendly food. Plus, if you ask them to overcook the fries, they happily oblige. I’ve never had a bad meal there, whether dining in or going through the drive-thru.

The owner is incredibly friendly and welcomed me warmly, engaging in a wonderful conversation. Although this location is slightly out of my way, the welcoming atmosphere makes it worth it for me to choose it as my go-to Subway.
