California Fish Grill - Citrus Heights

I adore the food here. Finally, as a person who needs a gluten free diet, I'm not left with gluten-imitating noodles or lettuce wrapping everything. Here I can get a beautiful, naturally gluten-free meal with all the food groups. I love the salmon and the shrimp skewer most for protein and enjoy the rosemary zucchinni, fries, and asparagus sides best. I am also partial to the garlic sauce. On everything. The seasonal fruit drinks are all fantastic, as are the tepache canned drinks and stubborn soda fountain. The salads are better than average, with a mix of greens (rare to find any squishy leaves unlike some places) and great dressings. If I could eat here daily I would. Yum. Also, the prices are decent for portions and quality. Btw if you're a chicken fan, definitely try it here. For me, chicken will never beat out salmon as an option but chicken from fish grill is more perfectly cooked than anywhere else I've ever been.

I miss this place!! It’s elegant enough to be a 5 star restaurant that have that fresh seafood and healthy food options that have you craving for more!! I had the grilled rockfish with chipotle lime sauce over a bed of white rice with fire roasted corn!! OMG so good!! Need a franchise everywhere!! Great service and military discount!!

Very healthy and very affordable. I must say the food tasted good but it was something out of the world but really happy with the portion sizes and the prices. The staff was super friendly. I ordered a salmon with rice(brown rice) and then you can choose one side, I chose sweet potato fries and I also added asparagus for a little extra I believe $3 something. I recommend this place.

Cajun seasoned food tasted solid and was filling without breaking the bank. Generally any place you get fish tends to cost an excessive amount, the food here is far from cheap but it isn't overpriced. The customer service was kind as we stood there trying to figure out the menu as well so a good experience overall.

Food was very good and reasonably priced. The self serve was confusing since it was my first visit, but the staff was very helpful and I was able to easily navigate the process. The menu had lots of dietary options. The restaurant was clean and comfortable. I chose the salmon and zucchini, which was delicious. I look forward to coming back.
