At Casey's, a unique dining experience awaits those willing to explore the culinary offerings of a gas station. Patrons rave about the in-house pizzas, especially the celebrated breakfast variety, which many declare among the best they've ever had. Despite a few hiccups in order accuracy and some service-related frustrations, the overall consensus highlights the quality of the food, making it a standout choice over larger chains. Additionally, the welcoming demeanor of the manager has left a positive impression on customers. While there are minor areas for improvement, Casey's continues to impress with its delicious pizzas and community-centric service.

Don't expect the good old Casey's Pizza here, or any hot food for that matter.

I called the store again and mentioned my conversation with DoorDash. The Casey’s employee admitted she wasn’t sure how to deal with a delivery failure but finally acknowledged that she could call DoorDash herself to address the issue. After she suggested I simply pick up my order myself, she recommended I place a new order and warned me about a long wait because there were other orders ahead of mine. This is, of course, ridiculous. My order was already over half an hour late, and when I asked for contact information for the owner, I was denied. I reordered and am curious to see what happens next. The owner is supposed to be in the store tomorrow, and I look forward to discussing this with them. UPDATE: It’s safe to order drinks from them, as I tried today. DoorDash delivered my order, but I found that I didn't receive what I actually ordered. I called the store, and the woman I spoke with made a vague promise to deliver what I had ordered. That was hours ago, and I’m still waiting. Clearly, I’m the fool for continuously giving them chances to fix their mistakes, only to be let down each time. REMARKS: See the photo. Unbelievable. The delivery driver didn’t even knock; he just dropped my food on the floor and fled. I called the store to inform them that my food was left on the ground, and all she did was tell me that DoorDash had delivered it. And then DoorDash told me to call the store. Anyone who doesn’t want to eat off the floor should really order from somewhere else. I called the store again after DoorDash shrugged off their responsibility, and the employee I spoke to took my name and number, promising that the manager would call the next day. It's now 6 PM the next day, and I still haven’t received a call. This store not only works with a delivery service that employs people who leave food on the ground and sneak away, but they also employ individuals who don’t follow through on their promises. It’s disgusting. UPDATE: I sent a message with instructions on the same day my response was published. That was three days ago, and I still haven’t heard anything. UPDATE: Two weeks later...

I was pleasantly surprised to discover that a gas station makes their pizza on-site, and it's actually really tasty! They offer both 91 and 91 non-ethanol gas at fair prices at some of their pumps. However, I did find the slushies to be overly icy; after a few sips, they end up freezing, so you have to wait for them to thaw. On the bright side, I really appreciate that they have a walk-in cooler for drinks, where you can purchase ice-cold cases or 12-packs of soda.

After calling the store again to explain my situation, the employee admitted she didn't really know how to deal with a delivery failure. However, she finally agreed—though reluctantly—to contact DoorDash herself. She even suggested that I should just pick up the order myself and warned me that if I reordered, I would face a long wait due to other orders ahead of mine. This was frustrating since my initial order was already over half an hour late. I asked for the owner's contact information, but that request was denied. I decided to go ahead and reorder, hoping for a better experience, and I plan to speak with the owner when they come in tomorrow. UPDATE: Thinking I would have better luck ordering drinks today, I decided to give it another shot. Though DoorDash delivered my order, I realized I didn't receive everything I requested. When I called the store, the woman I spoke with vaguely promised to send the correct items, but hours later, I still haven't heard anything. I keep trying to give them opportunities to correct their mistakes, but it feels like I'm the one being naïve here.

I recently stopped by for gas and saw the store manager generously give someone who had no money five dollars' worth of fuel. What a kind gesture! However, the man he helped called him a jerk for not filling up his entire tank. Regardless of that, I will keep returning to this place because of the manager's considerate act.
