Swampwater Grill - Cincinnati

Went here for a Birthday lunch and had a great time. Google maps was slightly off due to a fence being placed. Just remember to pull in from Kellog. Food was flavorful! Swamp Pasta was my fav. Not a fan of the greens myself, very vinegar forward. Service was fast but maybe a little pushy, felt rushed. The environment was fun for the theme.

I swore i will never return. but i have to leave a review to perhaps one day it will get better and ill return..... horrible dry ribs with a tiny amount of bbq sauce on side , almost frozen corn bread , cold french fries. cole slaw was terrible... i used to love this place .. is there a new owner or did they just quit caring ???????

My husband took me for my birthday, and we really enjoyed it! The fried oysters were delicious, and my hubby loved the etouffe! I also had the jambalaya and grits as my sides, both really good! We had the gator bites appetizer, and it was good, but a little on the small side... Comes mixed with fried jalapenos, and they tasted really good too, but we definitely had more jalapenos than gator. Loved the curtains between the booths, felt cozy and a little more private. Fun atmosphere!

We sat at the bar 5 service was great. Unfortunately the food was meh. The chargrilled oysters were salty and tasted odd. I also had the etouffe side dish and it was just ok.

Best place to be! Fabulous food, best people ever. Can’t say a bad thing about this wonderful establishment.
