I tried to do some research before visiting this restaurant, but their website and Facebook page didn't provide much information about their vegan options. It can also be difficult to catch them open when you visit in person. However, when I finally had the chance to stop by this summer, I was pleasantly surprised. They had a variety of vegan gelato options, including at least four flavors, as well as sorbet. The vegan gelato is clearly labeled as such, and they allow you to taste test before making a decision. I particularly enjoyed the pistachio and peach mango flavors. The portion size was generous when I ordered one scoop. If you're planning on visiting, I recommend calling ahead to make sure they're open.
The vegan gelato at this restaurant is incredible. The flavors rotate, and I have tried both the chocolate and peanut butter options. In addition, they offer 2-3 different flavors of sorbet as well.
This dessert shop is adorable. The gelato here is top-notch, while the chocolates are average. They may not melt in your mouth, but they still taste delicious. If you're craving excellent gelato, this is the place to go.
This cheese cake was the worst I've ever had. I was really looking forward to it, especially being 7 months pregnant. But when I took a bite, it tasted like soap or cleaning product. My boyfriend also tried it and said it reminded him of Fabuloso cleaner. The only reason I gave it two stars is because the cookies were good.
Sweet Hunter was a new experience for us, and we found it to be just average. Compared to the amazing pizza we had at Saint Francis Apizza, this fell short. The gelato was mediocre, with a texture more like soft ice cream than the thick and creamy gelato we were expecting. The flavors were decent, but we preferred the tiramisu and cheesecake over the overly sweet Stracciatella. We also tried the amaretto and coconut chocolate flavors, but found that the amaretto tasted more like maraschino cherry and the coconut had a strange hint of mint. Overall, we gave it a try but it didn't quite meet our expectations. On the bright side, the staff were friendly.
