Great place for families and groups in the open air... plentiful and well cooked... play area for children....prices moderate fast service... structure managed by the same property of the restaurant Zanatta di Varago... bad that the air trumpet at the end of July have forced them to close for this year cause the serious damage suffered... we look forward to reopening for the next year also because they are due to covid
We stopped by chance, but we struggled to leave. Umbrian food (classical grilled, etc. but all outdoor and in the shade of plants or umbrellas. Very pleasant and recommended for children.
The great strength of this structure would be children's games a stone's throw from the tables, if there was more maintenance. The staff isn't among the most courteous, the waitress got sore because I went straight to the table without going through her. Another reason for trouble was my request to attack 2 tables (what impossible for security reasons??!????? At the end of the table we set it up on our own because in zero time the meat arrived (the bill then came from restaurant! We left very sorry, so we're not coming back. Bad value for money.
For years I stopped, going up Cadore, until this year it was a must and recommended stage. But this year something has changed, worse. I stop on Thursday 11th at lunch, we're in three, practically empty restaurant. We order and we need it quickly: tasted chicken I wondered if I had no wrong place! dry, unhealthy, distant relative of the leccornia I remembered. Bad ribs (returned surely) normal sausages. I eat, I pay and I convince myself: from the restaurant was semi-empty, there is that they served not the maximum available Sunday 14 trip back, I refer to myself. This time the restaurant is overwhelmed: today they cannot miss! And instead still dry chicken, tasteless; ribs with doubtful quality, sausages stracotte. There is repair. Too bad.
