Great establishment, but it wasn't fun to stand there and have someone from the kitchen come up in front of me while at the register to squawk at the cashier about how to ring something up. There is a time and place for that. Other than that, food is always amazing. Food: 5 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 5

Very good food and great service but the scrolling menu to order is a poor attempt to be cool and kitschy. Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The breakfast was fantastic. The staff greeted us with a smile and had quick service. Whatever spice they had on the sausage was delicious. The menu has a variety to choose from. The fresh squeezed orange juice was sweet, and a good portion sized. Therestaurant has a cute hometown feel and decor. The eating area indoors is small but they additional seating on the wrap-aroundporch and picnic tables out front. When the weather is cooler it would be a perfect spot to enjoy a meal with coworkers, friends, or family. If you are in the area, I recommend stopping by for a bite to eat or a seasonal drink.

Came here for lunch as have been wanting to try The Rooted Fork for months. Walked in and was immediately greeted by the staff. They explained the menu and the daily special that's not on the main menu. Everything sounded good, but ordered the CurbsideJonny, The Basic Bowl, and Kung Pao Cauliflower. There were about 15 tables that were clean and ready inside, but decided tosit outside to enjoy the weather. There were about 10 benches with umbrellas out front and about 5 tables on a covered porcharea. Placed my order and sat outside with my number. Within 10-15 minutes, they brought my order to the table. You don'thave a dedicated server, but various staff are walking around the table checking if everything is ok. All the food was hot andpresented nicely. The Curbside Jonny is a double-meat patty melt served on Texas Toast. The meat was juicy and was served withlayers of provolone cheese, caramelized onions, bacon, and jalapenos. It was a nice homemade burger with fresh ingredients. The Basic Bowl was a nice light bowl of quinoa with vegetables that helped offset the Curbside Jonny. The quinoa was the base, but it was generously covered with many other fresh vegetables. The surprise hit of the meal was the Kung Pao Cauliflower. They did a great job of replicating Kung Pao Chicken with Cauliflower. The sauce was great and the small pieces of peppers gaveit a good amount of heat without being overbearing. Will definitely come back to try some of the other menu items as I'm surethey'll be just as good this order. Great food and service.
