Probably the best BBQ I’ve had in Texas. Truly a hidden jem tucked away in Cibolo. The brisket was amazing, the sausage even better. The pricing was very reasonable compared to the amount of food that was put on the tray. 10/10 I highly recommend stopping in and giving it a try. View all feedback.
What Debby Gilliam doesn't like about Harmon's Bbq:
My usual order is the 1/4 lb brisket (2 or 3 slices, 2 slices bread, pickles, onions) and water. Today the young lady taking my order asked if I 'd like the kids plate which would be the same amount of brisket a side a drink for about the same price. This was so considerate and helpful to me, as I am an older lady who doesn 't eat much at a time and I 'm on a limited income. Thank you so much to the young lady taking... View all feedback.
Ordered delivery of a sliced brisket sandwich half chicken with cream corn green beans. I received pinto beans in place of the cream corn and a half gallon of warm barely sweet tea. Otherwise the chicken brisket sandwich was fresh ,hot delicious. Will have to really think about placing another delivery order with them plus no utensils or napkins.
Our first time to dine here. Fast, friendly staff. For BBQ, the prices are very reasonable. The brisket was tender and juicy, not too fat, not too lean. The sauce was nice and tangy. The beans were very good, as was the mac and cheese. We will definitely come back!
Great Bar-B-Q and friendly service. First time there, but will return!!!
This is a fabulous little local bbq joint. The brisket was good but the pork butt was excellent. 5/5 would eat again!
For context, I've eaten a lot of BBQ across Texas. Harmon's is not anywhere near the top of my list, but it's a good, solid, local BBQ that I can get in 5 mins. The food pictured cost me just over $44 for reference. A little on the high side, but that's the nature of BBQ today. All the meat was good. Had some decent smoke flavor that wasn't overpowering/bitter. The jalapeño cheddar sausage was fantastic, and my favorite out of the brisket, pork, sausage, and cheddar jalepeno. The potatoe salad had great flavor and reminded me of what the white-hairs would bring to a family get-together. The junk beans, however, were not my favorite. It had a very heavy vinegar flavor to it that was not good. It was light on the beans and heavy on the meat, which was great, but the vinegar flavor was too much. I dropped a star over the beans and asked for burnt ends for my order of brisket and not getting them. If it's not available or honored, it shouldn't be an ordering option. That was a little disappointing. Overall, it is a solid local place that gets the job done.
