Satay Village

Simple Malaysian food. Quick, easy, and friendly; probably my favorite all time restaurant. Try the hot chicken mee goreng.

Amazing food and great guys. The quality of food is excellent, and it is very well priced. Always my first stop whenever I'm in Wellington. I dined regularly here when I lived in the city, and I really miss it! The Chicken Mee Goreng is to die for easily the best in Wellington.

My partner and I and our teenage daughter just finished having dinner at Satay Village and the food was delicious! The service was prompt and the food was hot. Thoroughly enjoyed this dining experience and would recommend it to anyone :

Went to Satay Village on Friday night with 3 other workmates. I ordered the mixed mee goreng which was served promptly and as spicy as I had asked. The plate was also very plentiful. <br/ <br/ On the whole we had a very pleasant evening and I will definitely return.

Good service, insanely quick. Literally about five minutes. Food really nice, and relatively cheap. Would recommend. Only reason it's not a five is due to the lack of ambience.
