Generally consistent tasty food which isn't badly priced for central Wellington. The main improvement would be to order management. Make use of a numbering system instead of calling out the order details. It's confusing and leads to people taking the wrong order. Give people a plastic number card and write the number on the packaging View all feedback.
What Foodie doesn't like about Kebabs On Queen:
I've been here about 5 times now. Not bad..that's why I kept going back. Until my last experience that has put me off for a very long time. I ordered my kekab...took about 10 minutes (acceptable but when I ate it all I could taste was OIL not only dropping from the bottom (could've dealt with this if this was all.... But the chicken was tasteless, the garlic yoghurt sauce was like water (gross wasn't nice and thick l... View all feedback.
Wanted a meat only no salad large take away, $18 dollars, when opening only a few strips of meat absolute rip off, this owner is dishonest and could have said you dont get much for $18 with meat only option. Franchisor should close this one down as damaging their brand. Service: Take out Meal type: Lunch
Came at 6:20pm on Saturday and it was closed Service: 1

Had lovely meal here over for weekend to visit family
Having come back to the Terrace for work after a year at the other side of town, it's been nice to revisit some of my old eateries. Today, Kebab on Queens. I do like a kebab. I always order (as I did today) a Chicken kebab with garlic yoghurt, chili and sweet chili sauces, with all the salads. They are prepped pretty quickly, placed in the heater before handed over. The staff are friendly and I find them consistent. The kebab was tasty as always, only slight grumble is that it wasn't that warm today, but it was still good. I prefer to eat them rolled up, but have learned that it's best to use a knife and fork on a plate when at work... this avoids the undignified battle to fit the last bit in your mouth without getting it all over your face when you reach the end. It also prevents the sauces splurging out all over your fingers leaving you smelling of kebab for the rest of the day. At $10.00 it’s reasonably priced, the flavours are there, the chicken is good (although I'd prefer it was carved off the spit rather than taken from a heating pot, pre-cut), the bread is soft and fresh and the salad crisp, with plenty of it. There are a number of sauce options and you get to choose up to three. A nice lunch.
