Fantastic fresh sushi. Heaps of variety in the sushi train and reasonably priced. Friendly service. It would get a higher rating from me if they slightly expanded their drink menu. View all feedback.
Really good range of good quality sushi. Regular variation of what's on offer too which makes each visit a new experience. Ramen, Udon etc also available is delicious and very reasonably priced. I have spent a decent amount of time in Japan and I can say for a fact that the staff make it an authentic experience with their hospitality. Some of the plates on the train can be a wee bit on the expensive side but otherwise a really good wee sushi train.
Great service, reasonable prices and delicious food. I've taken family and friends here many times and it's always great, big fan. Thanks guys.
Visited this place while we are at Wellington. I'm so thrilled to see salmon skin on the sushi belt. It's one of my favorite which I can't get in Auckland sushi train. Sadly the skin is so salty but the green tea dessert is yum! It's a good place to dine in to catch out with friends .
I'm glad to be back to have my sushi/sashimi fix. They actually have more choices here which are authentic and not the familiar ones you see at every street corner sushi outlets. One has to be more adventurous and get out of what's familiar, for there's no other way to discover what you've been missing. I enjoyed their Lotus root chips, tuna, eel, and yes, kina (sea urchin) sashimi! I was worried they didn't have the kina since it was not on the carousel, but the staff said it could be prepared upon request. Yum! It's just a bit disappointing they did not have fresh oysters yesterday. The place is very clean with a nice ambiance, and the staff, as always, are really nice and accommodating. Will definitely keep coming back.
My sister was in town from New Plymouth with my niece and nephew. They really wanted to go to a sushi train. <br/ <br/ I wasn 't aware of one until we looked into it and found Wasabi Sushi on Cuba. On arrival I can see why too, it’s very unassuming. It 's only really once you enter you realise it 's there.<br/ <br/ We all ordered miso soup.<br/ <br/ The 'train ' is fun. A continuous stream of dishes, regularly refreshed by the sushi chefs. A reasonable selection on offer. The kids loved it.<br/ <br/ The plates clearly identify the price is you reference the poster on the wall.<br/ <br/ The sushi itself was good too. Fresh, plentiful and enjoyable.<br/ <br/ For two adults and two kids it came to $55.00<br/ <br/ The train adds a nice dimension to the experience, rather than the usual lunchtime plastic containers you take back to work and eat at your desk. I 'll go again for sure.
