1841 Bar Restaurant

A pretty decent place! Staff are very friendly, prices are really good and food is very tasty. One of the best bars I've been to in a while. They also have a nice outdoor area and a flash gambling area.

A good place to hang out with friends in Johnsonville for a drink and nice food. I had the vegetarian lasagne. It was yum..

The Hop Scotch was burnt, and the Glenside Chowder was so watery, its not creamy at all, from what my friend said when she came. Also found prawn shell in the chowder. So disappointed.

This would be our 3rd visit together as a 3-some as it's usually 4 of us. Lil sis, mum and I enjoyed our lovely starters of twister prawns followed by our lovely main meal of steak, chicken, and burger meal with lovely salad and hot chips. The service also so good as usual, considering the many diners in at the time... See you next time and thanks again for always such a great meal and likewise service. PS Wow I had to take a pic of the cool art work in the ladies. No, I never had any alcohol(not that day! !

An excellent bar and bistro located in central Johnsonville. The 1841 provides a wide selection of beers, wine, spirits and ciders. The food menu is much better than most Wellington pub meals. The front line 1841 staff provide a helpful and friendly ambiance.
