This hidden gem is a must-visit! After driving from Chester to explore the Shropshire Hills, we stumbled upon this charming café in a coffee guide book. We were thrilled to grab a quick brunch before our hike. The toast was scrumptious and the coffee was top-notch. The café has a clean and trendy interior, making it a beautiful spot to relax. Every time we're in the area, we make it a point to stop at this restaurant before or after our walk. They offer a fantastic selection of savory and sweet vegan dishes, along with top-notch coffee.
This is a great spot to grab a drink and they offer a couple of vegan dessert options. However, I wouldn't recommend coming here for a full meal.
I decided to visit this restaurant based on the positive reviews, but was disappointed to find they were out of vegan sausage rolls and hummus. This limited my options as they are not very accommodating. After a long walk, I was really hungry and the lack of vegan options was a letdown. Additionally, the restaurant is not dog-friendly. I ended up ordering a salad that looked appealing, but it turned out to be comprised of pickled vegetables and a few falafels, with no dressing. The beans on soggy toast were the highlight of the meal. Overall, my experience was not as great as I had hoped.

I tried the vegan sausage roll at this restaurant, which was served with a side salad, vegan coleslaw, and a tasty onion chutney.
