Food was presented beautifully, and it tasted better than it looked. Fantastic value for money. Great choice of wines and very fairly priced. The friendliest service I have received in Switzerland for many years. So obliging, happy, friendly, wonderful personnel. From start to...finish excellent. We will definitely be back.

Recently I was in chur with a group of 26 people as guide and va bene restaurant was recommended by the abc hotel. we had dinner in 3 different restaurants in c... read more Recently I was in chur with a group of 26 people as guide and va bene restaurant was recommended by the abc hotel. we had dinner in 3 different restaurants in chur, but that was the best of quality food, very beautifully presented, a separate room for our group, our desires filled with smiles. although the va bene restaurant is not centrally located (but very conveniently near the train station), it is a nice walk through a quiet residential area of this beautiful alpenstadt (chur) and definitiw the visit worth. they will not be disappointed.

Unsure if it's because that's how risotto suppose to taste like but we could barely finish it. The fresh noodle was the best dish where the deer was...cooked perfectly and everything tasted great. Unfortunately all the complimentary risotto with three mains were just too salty, so I left the place hungry....
