This is but one sign that modern and contemporary, mostly perceived as better, can lack „soul“. Additionally, just now, i have been greeted the 3rd time with a chipper „good morning“ by the 3rd staffmember! Hope can come in the form of a coffee order served in style!

The staff are friendly no matter what time of day you visit early morning t... read more I would recommend Cafe Maron to anyone who is in the area near Chur railway station. The staff are friendly no matter what time of day you visit early morning they have many choices of sandwiches etc should you want to make up a...picnic for train trael. The cakes and patisserie are divine and after a long day trip on the Bernina Express a glass of cold beer is very welcome too. They do start closing up around 7pm in summer so this is something to bear in mind when travelling inbound to Chur.

We saw a variety of sandwiches and decided to purchase some for our lunch on the train. We added some delicious chocolates, too! The food was all very good and...this solved our concerns about not being able to find lunch once the train arrived in Tirano and prior to leaving for Milan.
