Feedback
Jamies was a great experience to me from A to Z. I was on a solo dinner, Armon, the server was very social and welcoming. He suggested tailored dishes to me, which were delicious. Main course, the local “capuns” was stunning both as taste and presentation. The details revealed the hand of a creative and experienced chef. The cream on my nut cake, for example, was from a true cream machine and not from a vulgar spray bottle as many tend to serve nowadays. The ambience was trendy, multicultural and pleasant in its minimalism. The street close by didn’t bother me particularly, being on the terrace. I’ll definitely go again.
I have never written a review before about a restaurant in which I did not eat.We intended to eat at Jamie’s because of its high rating on Trip Advisor, but when we arrived, it appears to be a Sports Bar. Granted, it is World Cup time which might explain the two enormous TV screens on the terrace. However, in poking our heads inside the restaurant, it appears to have mostly, if not all, communal tables with bar stools. The food could be fantastic, but it did not seem to be a restaurant destination.Just sayin’!
