First course was a t... read more This was one of the best meals I have eaten in my whole life. It was better than the Michelin 3-star restaurant experience I had in the US. First course was a tiny Quiche Lorraine with exquisite onion flavors. What followed was the best dish ever, mackerel carpaccio. I do not care for fish that much. (The restaurant lets you choose fish or meat for your main course, all other courses offer no options. I choose fish since this is a block away from the Tsukiji fish market. I was not disappointed! )The carpaccio was so tender and dressed in some magical oil and vinegar. It was stunning. So tender, it melted in your mouth. The soup course was a cream soup that was perfectly balanced. The main course was Sea Bream that was crispy, accompanied by pasta and vegetables. There was a tiny piece of octopus on top. Dessert was a chocolate gateau, vanilla ice cream, and pear in a strawberry sauce. Tiny bite-sized pastries came with it. Coffee or tea was part of the prix fixe.
