Food was good, we ordered squid with tamarind sauce and stir fried chicken with cashew nuts. I would say it’s the only touristic place in Kawthaung.

This place is located on a small hill, therefore you have a beautiful sight of the city... read more We spent three weeks in Kawthaung, during monsoon season, as volunteers. This place is located on a small hill, therefore you have a beautiful sight of the city and of the bay. The restaurant is very beautiful, the atmosphere is quite magic in the night and the waitress are very kindly. There are a lot of Burmese dishes, cooked very well and good for an European sensitive stomach. We have tried every dish, and I highly recommend seafood noodles, broccoli chicken rice, pineapple rice, fried vegetables... There are also excellent juice and milkshake, prepared with fresh fruit.
