Loncheria Rani - Chuminopolis

Very disappointing experience at Loncheria Rani. As we approached the restaurant, a pack of 15 Mexicans started screaming in all directions and threw themselves at us to get us to come to their house, I've never seen that. Following this I was treated to a piece of plastic in my sandwich which was also not good. No one in our group finished their plate. However, we relied on the fairly rave reviews that I still don’t understand today. It is possible to find other, more qualitative Loncheria in the area. What a wonderful experience! Great place to try a bunch of local specialties from the Yucatán peninsula, including delicious items like panuchos, salbutes, and Claudia! Such friendly staff, too (especially Carolina, who took care of me tonight)! Open late, too, which is nice. Great food at a great price—a great way to wind up my too-short stay in Merida! Everything was very delicious, although it was a little expensive, 1 medium coca for 40 pesos or 1 medium fruit water for 60 pesos. If you go with your family, the cost of the account increases a lot. Excellent service and delicious food. I was skeptical because I had bad experiences in other similar places, but the truth is you don't ask anything of a restaurant.
