Was Grace H at La 70 a mag?
We came here for breakfast, the food was very tasty and decent portion size. We also had a tropical fresh juice which was delicious and very refreshing. The staff were also friendly and attentive. View all feedback.
What David M dislikes about La 70:
Decent food and coffee, but the service was lacking. A bit of a wait to take our orders and then again to bring the food/drinks (drinks were given to the wrong persons). Not sure what the commission charge was when we paid the bill, most places in Merida includes taxes. Overall we enjoyed the food, but one visit was enough, no need to return. View all feedback.

We went for breakfast and it was pretty good. The wide courtyard in the property sandwiched between a house and the restaurant storefront had been turned into terrace seatings with each table underneath a giant parasol. Murals were around as well, making it for a very nice atmosphere to start the day. This would make for a good place to spend the morning while waiting for an ADO bus, whose terminal is just one block away. This was exactly what we did. The food wasn’t as plentiful in volume, given the price, but the quality made up for it.
What a marvelous surprise! We stopped to eat only because it was across the street from the hardware store we were going to. I sm so happy we stopped! Drinks were cold, food was great...i will be returning. The chaya with pineapple is so refreshing! The sopa de verduras could have used a bit of salt, but it was really nice. The pollo pibil was succulent and perfect for lunch.

The eggs were very greasy. Coffee was served long before breakfast came in. Orange juice wasn't really a natural juice...
We passed this location several times while out for a walk. This time was a deliberate destination to adventure into a very open welcoming yard with umbrellas covering well spaced tables. From the door, masks were on everyone, hand sanitizer and temperature were confirmed and satisfactory. Service was prompt and pleasant accompanied with smiles. Coffees were very good. Food was excellent. Price was well accepted from a tourist point of view. Staff were wonderful. We plan to return with our friends for breakfast next week. Thanks to the staff for making our day.
