Update: single LG slices are delicious. They also have a special lunch... I have not tried the food but the ambiance is special. I hear good feedback and just stopped by to look inside. The staff energy seems friendly and approachable. Looking forward to seeing if it will be a favorite. There is less parking but more, around the back. Check back for updates Parking: There are three lots with spots and you will always... View all feedback.
What Matthew doesn't like about Victorinos Pizzeria:
This place has definitely changed ownership. This is NOT New York style pizza. I loved this place for the crust, and quality of toppings. It has been remodeled and looks better but in my opinion it was fine, I come for Pizza, not for the look. They now have same dough as Costco or Little Caesars, and that is not worth it View all feedback.

Pizza slices looked like they 'd been sitting out all day and lacked flavor. Customer service was inattentive and terrible as well. The owners are from a taco shop next door, pretending to be experts on New York and Chicago pizza, especially using the Mexican owner 's first name, adding 'ino ' at the end in order to make it sound Italian. Stick to making Mexican food. I recommend checking out Caliano Pizza for real New York pizza in Chula Vista from a real Italian owner and fresh ingredients.
They don’t take a digital receipt (which they offer) so you have to pay the full price.
Man this place was once my favorite pizza spot to go to in San Diego. When people would rave about Bronx pizza I would always send them to NY Pizzeria and without a doubt they would fall in love with this place. I’ve been a life long customer ever since back when they were inside a car awash in Imperial Beach. Unfortunately they sold the business and the recipe has completely changed. What made this place so special was how authentic the NY pizza was. Everything was spot on the flavor, amount of toppings and most of all the crust. I’m sorry to the new owner of this establishment but whatever you did to the original recipe is such a let down. I definitely will miss the OG style that got this amazing establishment its customers.
