What User doesn't like about Unisushi:
I was disappointed because I had ordered two California rolls, a regular and a baked. when I think of a baked roll, I think of a crispy layer on the outside. my hot california roll was very much not baked. the soße was also a little runny, which is not appealing. I have dipped in here a few times before and it was in order, but one time I order the take? View all feedback.
I was disappointed because I ordered two California rolls, one regular and one baked. When I think of a baked roll, I expect it to have a crispy layer on the outside. However, my hot California roll was far from baked. Additionally, the sauce was a bit too runny for my liking, which wasn’t very appealing. I've visited this place a few times before, and it was fine, but this time I was let down.
The prices are a bit high, but the food and service are excellent. However, there are no restrooms available.
I wish I could rate this restaurant a 4.5, but it didn't quite reach a 5 for me—more like a solid 4. The food was fresh and mostly affordable, and I'd definitely come back for the delightful experience. All the rolls were well-prepared with quality ingredients; the salmon was tender and juicy, and the calamari was both tender and crispy. My only suggestion would be for them to provide more detailed information about the ingredients in each roll, especially for those with gluten intolerance or other dietary restrictions. The staff was friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall positive experience.
Started with orion some nigiri ika, saba, murugai, hokkigai, unagi and some gyoza( would have liked to be on the floor krrispier) but the hamachi kama was excellent. so I keep the 5 stars. the mixed fried rice was also amazing and a big compliment. I was surprised they had salted Wasabi strands?
My wife and I were looking for a sushi please to try and ended up at Unisushi located at the Chula Vista mall on Broadway. We decided to sit outside and ordered a couple of chicken teriyaki bentos and a couple of drinks. The food was delicious and fully enjoyed it. Service was fast and prices were a little bit high but with prices soaring high on almost everything these days is fully understandable. We will be back when in the area.
