I visited Bobby's for the first time today. I grew up in Peters Creek but now live in Columbus, Ohio, so it was wonderful to find a genuine breakfast place in my hometown. There are no frills here, but the food is outstanding! I had the reindeer sausage skillet topped with delicious country gravy, along with two HUGE blueberry pancakes, crispy bacon, and a side of biscuits and gravy.
We ate Breakfast 2 times while in the area during our 5 week visit to Alaska. The servings were large, food hot, coffee fresh and refilled with a to go cup if needed. It was strange for me to have an omelet with no cheese in it, but it was stuffed with delicious meat.
We saw this place from the highway, there was an exit close by in both directions. So we stopped here and got a proper authentic diner breakfast. The kids meals were epic and our chicken fried steak and omelette were epic. Massive meal sizes and good hot coffee. Definitely worth a stop.
Good home cooked meal. Leave the fancy at home and enjoy good traditional breakfast. Small place and satisfying food for a reasonable price.
We stopped here for lunch after visiting thunderbird falls. Our friends live in Wasilla and Anchorage and thought this would be good and enjoyable. They were correct ! Three in our group ordered burgers and fries, my wife and I had the Philly cheese steak and split pea soup and the youngest member had the blueberry pancakes. Everything was very good!
