Contribute Feedback What The Marcum Tribe likes about New River Coffee Co:
Did not care for the taste of their pumpkin spice latte, tasted like I was drinking a spicy candle or something. They were gracious enough to make me something else which was so good. I just got a latte sweetened with honey. I really wanted Oat milk but they didn’t have many other alternatives to milk options. I’d like to try something else maybe when I go back. They do offer a good bit on the menu of other things if... View all feedback.
What Nan ChocruM doesn't like about New River Coffee Co:
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY I ordered an iced Americano, but it tasted like nothing and had a lot of ground coffee in it. I only realized this when I walked to the next shop. I couldn't drink it! I went back and asked for a new one, but the owner refused, saying they couldn't remake it because I had already left the shop. Very disappointed with both the quality and the service. Charged $4 for a cup of milk for a toddler. Way to capitalize. I wish I could give an additional zero star because the guy working there called me out on my review in the mall. He told me to go to the store and buy all the milk I wanted. I will never be stopping back here.
Got a caramel frap and it cost $10 with a $2 tip. That’s insane especially because it had NO caramel or coffee flavor. It was literal just milk with a hint of caramel. I asked for a double shot of espresso and I’m usually wired after but this one didn’t hit at all. Complete waste of money.
Outstanding coffee, fairly priced, and politely delivered by staff. The owner, Sam, runs an excellent operation!
Amazing coffee and fast service. The sugar free snickers latte was delicious! I was extremely satiated due to not being able to consume sugar as a result of my IBS. Rarely crowded because it is in the mall which is basically a ghost town these days.
You get about what you expect of a mall coffee shop. If you like Starbucks or other big brand coffee, you will enjoy their drinks. You get the mall atrium atmosphere but they do make it comfortable with plenty of good tables. The service is friendly and quick but if you're looking for fine coffee or interesting treats, you will not find it. (Thus the 3 stars. They do have an extensive tea selection, sodas, the usual big coffee drink menu, and a selection of baked goods and some candy. Kid-friendliness: A good place to stop and refuel with a smoothie, soda, or whatever while shopping. Always kind about bringing snacks for my kids while have a drink.
