I was disappointed to find that the poppadums were burnt and there was a piece of plastic in the chicken madras. The delivery took over an hour, resulting in cold food. My partner and I dined at Standard Bengal two nights ago and enjoyed a delicious and fresh meal. We opted for the 'Bengal Night' special on a Wednesday evening. Our waiter, Wahi, provided excellent service and we look forward to returning in the future. View all feedback.

I have been here for 30 years (although it has seen some changes in the peculiarities) I have always a good meal here. a safe bet for a good meal.
Especially good for variety, worth and typical excellent aroma is the sampler on Monday or on Tuesday for a tener. enough to feed two.
Has been regularly here for around two years. the staff are all very friendly and efficient, but more to the point they have a big chef and those.
