Fuimos por los comentarios de tripadvisor. No fuimos decepcionados. Todo lo que probamos fue exquisito. Empanadas. Lasaña. Chivito. Milanesa napolitana. Puré. Papas noissette. Bife de chorizo con papas naturales. lomo al champiñón. Postre. fuimos en 3 oportunidades y todo fue excelente. También es de destacar la atención de la moza. Muy amable y con acertadas sugerencias. Totalmente recomendable. View all feedback.
As its name suggests, the Petit Restaurant\' is relatively small and seats only around people, but it is cosy and the service just one waitress in the several times I have been there over the last years is extremely friendly and...efficient. Not everything listed on the menu will be available on any one night but the specials\' are worth taking seriously. The fare is Argentinian traditional and everything tastes fresh and well prepared. Deserts are good and an apple bread-and-butter pudding with a touch of the flans about it was memorable. A limited section of wines is available and usually includes the excellent varietals from the Bodega del Fin del Mundo. Prices are very modest. Highly recommended.
We ordered the beef with mushrooms and potatoes plus a salad. It was nothing special. Had flan for dessert with cream. It was home made and very good.
This is a fantastic family restaurant, run by enthusiastic Alfredo and his wife. They offer great food, all home made, and overall very different typical Argentinian recipes than usual asados. It is a pleasure to have diner there at each of my visit to Chos...Malal. it is possible to order great lunch boxes (plan two-day notice).
Run by a husband and wife team, after a full day driving Ruta I was there on the dot at opening time. Mama was still doing the washing though so sat outside for minutes. I know im being flippant there but the food...was excellent, had steak in a delicious mushroom sauce washed down with a cold one. Very good value and saves the walk down to the other end of town.Recommended.
An unexpected treat to find this gem in a little town of Chos Malal at the foothills of Andes mountains. It's run by husband and wife team and can only seat about diners. The food is first class, prepared by the wife and served...by her husband. I would recommend a call for reservations.
