What Robert I doesn't like about Zaman's Spice:
Tried with mates after we noticed it on our recent visit to the town centre. Disappointed to find that even though the flavours are ok, it was still the same old we’ve got tired of eating around Chorley. Same taste of 3-4 sauces and bland palate. Our kheema rice was soggy. Garlic naan hardly had any garlic to it. Our daal was luke warm and tasted of oil rather than lentils. Not to say it was all bad. Starters seemed... View all feedback. read moreZamans, once heralded as Chorley's premier Indian takeaway, has recently reentered the culinary scene after a brief closure, yet opinions on its new direction vary widely. While some patrons appreciate the revitalization, especially praising the fresh ingredients and flavorful dishes like tandoori lamb chops, others lament the stripped-down menu and familiar flavors that offer little excitement. The service is generally noted to be swift and friendly, yet inconsistencies in dish quality, such as soggy rice and lukewarm lentils, leave some guests craving the former charm. Many hope for a return to Zamans’ past glory.
