Smethurst - Chorley

Yesterday, I went to the restaurant with my elderly dog and requested an unseasoned turkey breast for him. It was served perfectly—cool and cooked just right. The food for humans was absolutely amazing as well. The staff was friendly, and the manager was great. The atmosphere was lovely, and it really fit into our weekly routine. I will definitely be returning, as it's truly worth a visit!

I had lunch with my mother-in-law, and we were both thoroughly impressed with the quality and portion sizes of the food. I ordered the sirloin steak, which was cooked to perfection—truly a rare find! The fries, wobbles, and tomatoes were delicious as well. Even though I was quite full, I couldn't resist trying the apple crumble with custard, which was absolutely out of this world. My mother-in-law opted for the chicken and couldn't stop praising it. We also enjoyed a lovely conversation with the owners, who are both wonderful and clearly passionate about making this pub a success. Thank you for a fantastic experience!

The meal was fantastic. Usually, when we have a group of 10, there's typically at least one person who isn't satisfied with their meal. However, that wasn’t the case this time; everyone agreed that the food was brilliant, and the fries were the best we've ever had!
