San Marco - Chorley

Another year, another PAGB Inter Club Print Championships means it's time to show our support for the San Marco Group of restaurants. The food, service, and ambiance are consistently excellent. The tagliatelle, carbonara, and other dishes were all delicious. For dessert, we enjoyed tiramisu, a selection of macarons, and an incredible chocolate and cream creation (which we highly recommend). We finished off the meal with two Americanos and two Macchiatos. Overall, a fantastic dining experience at San Marco. Highly recommend.

The management of this place is shocking. Firstly, the what seems to be the managers of this place scream at their staff infront of customers, which is beyond shocking! Especially since majority of their staff are children. Very clear that they take advantage of their young children staff. I have been in another previous time, and I witnessed an older member of staff shouting and swearing yes swearing at a younger member of staff who just stood there and took it. Which is disgusting behaviour, especially a grown adult swearing. Thought being an adult, they’d know better on how to respect others and take care of their customers and staff, clearly not, the teenagers they have worker there are more mature then the adult staff which is just laughable. The managers are very disrespectful and you can tell they hate their job. I would too if I was in my 50’s working in hospitality, which is seen as a teenager job

We enjoyed a superb family evening at this wonderful restaurant. The delicious food, drink, service and presentation were all top class. Top marks from all our family. Highly recommended.

Attended here as a family of eight people. Lovely outdoor area with bar. New children’s play area which is a great addition. Food was amazing and service was good. My children’s food was taken away before we could ask to take it home with us as they couldn’t finish it. The restaurant made them two fresh pasta dishes to take away as an apology. Eating out has gotten so expensive now so when you do eat out you want it to be good. This restaurant didn’t disappoint. Lovely meal and lots of choice, we will be back.
