Lotus Garden - Chorley

I hadn't ordered from this restaurant in years due to a previous bad experience with the quality, but recently decided to give it another chance. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and overall experience. We usually order from a takeaway in Euxton, but this time Lotus Garden had better quality food - more flavorful and not as salty with soy sauce. We will definitely be visiting again soon.

After returning to the area, we were in search of a good Chinese takeout spot. We believe we have finally discovered it. The food was tasty. Just a reminder to bring cash, though! We will definitely return.

This restaurant serves low-quality, disappointing food. The spare ribs are mostly bone, fat, and deep-fried. The spring rolls are filled with only bean sprouts and lack other vegetables. The chicken fried rice tastes like bland, boiled rice. Overall, it is a total waste of money - avoid at all costs!

Wrong order , bland and watery curry . Won't be going again .

We’ve been many times since moving to Eccleston over a decade ago and it is great to have a takeaway like this in the village. Could you get higher quality Chinese food further afield? I have no doubt, however I have generally found the food to be enjoyable although sometimes variable in quality. Generally very efficient customer service, not to say there haven’t been occasional hiccoughs at very busy times, but we are talking about NYE here, so not the usual experience. It must be noted that they are still cash only, even in this post-COVID age, so don’t forget to go to the cash point first! The food is decent value too, in general, and I will continue to use them for my Chinese takeaways.
