It is buffet style, and I wonder if one of the negative reviews about table service and order reflect this. On a busy bus tour you would definitely like to eat the excellent and varied buffet instead of ordering a la cart. The chicken soup was excellent, and there were a variety of cereals, vegetables, potatoes, fish and meat dishes. The restaurant and the toilets were also very clean and modern.

Large selection is f local food to try including ceviche, vegetables, local soups including quinoa, various stir fries and lomos, variety of potatoes (each with its unique taste), my favorites were the two types of alapacca both Lomo and rubs absolutely delicious. Various cakes for deserts. All very fresh. Animated restaurant. 30 soles

We said we could eat here before our bus arrived to Puno. When we sat down, nothing happened. We had to get up and ask for the menu. The same for the order. Since this took some time, we had only 40 minutes before the bus. After the order we asked to speed it up. The waiter said it would take 20 minutes to prepare the food and funny enough it was exactly 20 minutes when the food was served. The chicks smeared the good, but I did not trust the salad as I saw the waiter making the salad with his bare hands the buffet. My plate also had a long black hair on it. We could just eat it in time for the bus. Next night, my son and I emptied our stomachs from the mouth, diarrhea and felt really bad. I'm not saying I'm sure it was because of the hygiene from this restaurant, because it was also a virus or something else we both got.
