Right at the main square with its pretty statues you find the cafe. It takes some time for the food to come and it is basic but I liked it a lot as I was in no rush. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Innkas Cafe:
We chose this place because we like its look from the outside. We ordered a menu for soles (soup and pasta) and a tea. For the tea we had to wait for at least minutes and the restaurant was freezing cold. After, they...were delivering us the soup one by one, when the first person finished, they gave us another one. There was a confusion in the kitchen so they completely forgot about our order. Don't order quinoa soup... View all feedback.

Overall we spent there more than an hour waiting for what we ordered and in the end didn't even get it all. What a pitty, the place was really nice.
We ended up to this place following the advise of our guide book, just to have to wait for more than hour for a fried fish and a soup and pizza to come. Prices are close to high quality restaurants of Arequipa, without reason...though. It was very cold inside as doors are opened for the staff to use the kitchen area and there was no single heating on (We were there for dinner so you can understand the temperatures at this altitude), everyone was eating in their heavy jackets... I got a very bad tasting vegeterian pizza and an ok asparagus soup. While the fish dish was average. To be honest even if the food had been delicious it would have been impossibile to enjoy if you have to go through this looong wait in the cold.
Not a lot of options around Chivay and this seems to be a decent one. We had a soup and pizzas at the place and all were nice and tasty. Although right in the central square (so pretty touristic) it was a nice experience. Also...service was good and kind.
Stopped by for lunch. Food on offer was generally Peruvian, with more traditional European sandwiches and burgers. Service was a little slow, but that tends to be the norm. Just an average restaurant bordering the Plaza D Armas.
