We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to come and enjoy our holiday! These two are the reason this area succeeds! They go above and beyond when it pertains to hospitality! Finding out that they’ve ran this place for over twenty years astonishes me! They’re magnificent in every way. They’re English isn’t the best but it’s navigable! Their hearts are pure. Their drinks are delicious and their attitudes are wonderful. Please be sure to make sure they know and are aware of your allergies for they will cater to that as well! This wine bar... read more I stopped here in a hot day of July, after the visit of the magnificent San Galgano abbey. A quick lunch in the garden, open air, under the trees. This wine bar is offering its own red wine and nice plates from the Tuscany heritage. Try the Ribollita (Tuscan bread soup with cabbage, beans and other vegetables) or their cold cuts or cheeses.

Ideally, come a bit early like noon or late; during Italian lunch it can be a bit busy. We were there a little after noon and enjoyed our lunch. Very pleasant staff. Great Brusschetta, Lasagna, Melon and ham and Tomato with Mozarella. Cheap. Not mass tourism fake Italian food! Recommended.
