We highly recommend this restaurant as the perfect spot for sake lovers, whether you are dining alone or with a partner at New Chitose Airport. If you enjoy sake, this is definitely a must-visit spot to add to your list of favorites. Unfortunately, we couldn't make it to the restaurant last time, but we plan on visiting Kita Akari for their fries, soymilk tofu, large sashimi platter, and grilled hockey next time. At Kitami Takozangi in New Chitose Airport, we tried a rare super dry sake and were pleasantly surprised by the special Junmai Maruta from Kuriyama-cho's Yama Shuzo. We look forward to experiencing more of Mr. Kitaminato's delicious creations on our next visit. We last revisited Maruta on September 3, 2022, and plan on returning again after a relaxing sweat session on September 13, 2022. The grilled striped fish was particularly delightful, so be sure to try it out at Maruta.
I visited the restaurant at the end of March and was seated promptly at my table. I enjoyed starting off with a delicious Japanese sake cup, Sapporo Classical. The staff were kind and attentive.
I visited this restaurant while waiting for an evening flight! There are plenty of dining options within New Chitose Airport, making it quite confusing to choose. After some hesitation, I decided on this restaurant! The interior was moderately crowded with people. And for shrimp lovers, it is a must-visit! I ordered the limited-time sweet shrimp bowl. The bowl filled with generous portions of sweet shrimp was beautiful! It was a delight to break the yolk in the middle and savor the dish. It is a recommended item where you can taste the intense flavor of sweet shrimp. The portion size was not as large as expected, and I could also order 1-2 other items as appetizers. So, I ordered the octopus Zangi! This, too, was incredibly delicious! Be sure to stop by before your flight. The customer service provided by the lovely waitress who took our order was also excellent.
