We were not acknowledged and waited five minutes, until we decided to leave. There was only three tables occupied with couples. Two of the chefs looked at us, but looked the other way. Pretty disappointed, especially reading previous reviews. Customer service is a must. Blackwall Cafe fails in customer service.

There were a few people in the cafe when we got there and it was packed when we left. We had coffees (great) and breakfast which was just awesome. My partner had the smashed peas with a poached egg (delicious). I had poached eggs with bacon (generous serve) and mushrooms. Our friends had the corn fritters which looked fantastic (one for next time). The poached eggs were done perfectly on all the plates and everything on the plate (including the toast) was perfect. Certainly a great local cafe to meet up with friends for breakfast or lunch.
