There is a lot to see and do with the museum, Trolley, Minigolf, Homestead and the rest of the site. The car ride was fun and informative with an additional small tour that shows the life of a mountain worker and his family. It was very interesting to learn about the history of the area. The landscape is beautiful. Minigolf was a beautiful end of the day. This is a great family attraction. View all feedback.
There's plenty to explore and enjoy at the site, including the museum, trolley rides, minigolf, and the homestead. The car ride was both enjoyable and educational, featuring a small tour that depicted the life of a mountain worker and his family. I found it fascinating to learn about the area's history. The scenery is stunning, and playing minigolf was a delightful way to conclude the day. This is an excellent attraction for families.
I've been visiting this place regularly since I moved here in 1998, and I've created countless wonderful memories. My grandpa used to work in the Genealogy department, which is still amazing to this day. I enjoyed spending an hour there while we explored the fossil exhibition. Every exhibit and event they host is always engaging and suitable for all ages. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the beauty surrounding the museum is breathtaking—even in winter, the views are stunning. The space is large and comfortable, making it easy to wander around for hours! It's also very affordable, perfect for those days when we’re looking for something to do and always find entertainment.
I had a wonderful experience at the CCC Museum, which featured very informative displays. However, the geology exhibits could have been improved with better lighting and functioning displays. The movie in the theater was fantastic and really highlighted the significance of this area in the country's development. The history and ethnology presented were also impressive.
An excellent museum full of Minnesota history. The campus is beautiful with rustic replicas of the houses where the early settlers lived, beautiful landscape buildings and a Civilian Conservation Corps exhibition. The main museum building has a wealth of history about the working movement and the early mining. The hiking trail Redhead is also nearby. From the beaten path and worth a visit.
What a delightful concept mixed open area and closed hall exhibits. The best representation of the State history is in this Center. Clean, carefully assembled narrative highlighting the history of the State from its humble beginnings. It is industry centric, but what a delightful expose providing the background to honestly compare ourselves to our predecessors.
